Colin Rose is a UK sculptor and artist based in Northumberland, working in a number of materials, including steel, wood, brick and fibre glass. His practice spans sculpture, drawing and public art, with commissions and projects including Gateshead, Sheffield, Genome Centre - Cambridge, Grizedale Forest - Cumbria, and has exhibited nationally and internationally, with residency in Lewers Gallery Australia, International Sculpture Symposium Strasbourg, & Kefeld, Germany, and received a Henry Moore Bursary at The Yorkshire Sculpture Park. In addition to his fine art practice of sculpture and drawing he has undertaken a number of design projects for M1 motorway sound barriers, street furniture of seating and lighting, Tyne & Wear Metro, Gateshead Town Centre, Henshaw Arts & Crafts Centre, Knaresborough and Resource Centre, Wakefield, and interior design projects in Barter Books - Alnwick.
